Papers may be submitted to the X IFM in three formats: Poster, Abstract, or Full Paper.
The contribution must be original and unpublished, and must not have been submitted to any journal or other conference. The methodology, as well as the concepts contained in the manuscripts, are the sole responsibility of the authors. By submitting a paper, the authors confirm compliance with all legal, ethical, and professional standards.
Papers may be written in English, Portuguese, or Spanish. The main document must not contain any author identification or references that could reveal the identity of the author(s).
If written in a language other than English, the paper must include an abstract in English. If written in English or Spanish, an abstract in Portuguese is required.
All submitted papers will be evaluated through a peer-review process.
A maximum of two submissions per author (as first author or co-author) is allowed. Inclusion in the conference programme is subject to the registration of at least one author.
The process of submission, review, notification of acceptance, and upload of the final versions will be managed via the UAlg conferences platform. Authors must therefore submit their work through the online submission system https://conferencias.ualg.pt/ifm2026/submissions.
Proposals must be submitted according to the template available below:
